Mount Everest

Well as you already know, it is getting hotter outside. So come inside and cool off and while you’re at it, climb Mount Everest! Join us on the Expedition Into Fitness and get fit with Vertical Training. This program will be a fun, interesting and challenging way to get fit climbing either Mount Everest or Mount Neverest here at KAC. There are two expeditions you can join.

Expedition 1: Climb Mount Everest: this program is open to anyone of any fitness level. It is designed to improve your fitness and build your aerobic base. Heart rate and rate of perceived exertion will be your “vertical training” guide as you climb the various stages of the mountain. During this expedition, you will receive a before and after fitness test, learn a little about Everest, have fun and see your fitness improve!

Expedition 2: Climb Mount Neverest: this program is designed to get you into “peak physique!” And will challenge you to the max, or shall i say “your max.” It is a program that is specific to you and that is what makes it so effective. You will receive a fitness assessment initially and will be reassessed as you climb to the higher camps, with a final accessment once you have summitted the mountain Let's together take your fitness up to a new level. That’s why it’s called Mount Neverest!  This will be a fun but tough expedition!
